Day 2, part two hiking on Skógafoss

Handsome gentleman----Skógafoss

If Seljalandsfoss ispretty bride wearing a veil, then Skógafoss is certainly the hansome gentleman. Skógafoss with distance of 30 km away from Seljalandsfoss. it is a water fall  25 meters wide, 60 meters high. Skógafoss pouring down like currtain, approached him, the sound of water is vast, so much water, hazy mist filled his eyes.

Falls among the eastern side of the mountain, there is a mountain cliff, so we had the first night climbing experience. Yes, it was midnight.  anyway,  cloudy, night and day is not much difference in Iceland. Here at midnight is a good choice as visitors had dispersed, free, World great, we are the only exclusive. Up to the hill, overlooking the waterfall, which is a very shocking.

It's Cloudy today. Cloudy is another feeling of magical, do you think so?

Although the clouds locked up the hill, but let that touch of green at the foot of the mountain becomes increasingly pure. That is Iceland!

The second day after rest. we have been driving on Iceland's Highway 1, all the way east.

The bride wore a white veil-----Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss is a beautiful bride wearing a white veil, veil blowing, dream like magic.

How lucky we are, witnessed two small wedding held in front of the waterfall in one day. One in an afternoon, and the other at midnight.  It's a wedding, not the wedding photographs. Master of ceremonies have friends even after the ceremony buffet, spend a lifetime oath at the foot of a waterfall promise heaven and earth to witness, beautiful and romantic.

You can also go to the back of  "veil", in the midnight sky through the mist, appreciate slight reddening sky. this is the other beauty of Seljalandsfoss

 trickles along the creek all the way towards the west of Seljalandsfoss, then we reach  purdah Gljúfurárfoss. it's not as big as Seljalandsfoss, but we could go more closer, so you could fell the strong of the water fall.

Beside Highway 1, there are cute little houses, suddenly we have the feeling of went through hobbit home. Small house formerly used to store the milk cans. milk collection vehicles can't arrive in time oftently due to the snowstorm punctual. So milk was stored temporarily in the this small houses. These small house with stones erected seats, for people waiting for the bus, this could prevend from rain and snows. that's big help. do you think so?
